Aaron Powell was convicted of killing Christina Powell and Mario Masciarelli but a retrial was ordered when it was found one of the seated jurors had worked for the law firm handling the Powells' divorce proceedings and custody battle.

It’s taken a week to seat a final jury for the retrial, which is expected to last another six weeks.

The 43-year-old Powell is accused of brutally killing Cristina and Masciarelli early on March 22, 2013 at the home on Lisi Lane.

Under the first conviction, Aaron Powell was sentenced to serve up to life in prison.
