Last week we lost another actress from 1960's television. Judy Carne, who helped a weekly comedy show develop one of its biggest catch phrases, "Sock it to me."
The person that said Saturday was the best day for kids, must have lived through the days of Saturday morning cartoons. This week, I wanted to feature not only the shows we all loved, but also the commercials in between them.
Once again, I'm throwing back to Saturday morning cartoons with a show that originally aired in the early 1970's, and featured real chimpanzee's speaking through overdubbed human voices.
I thought we would take a trip back into the 1960's, when the Beatles lived a Yellow Submarine, and viewers tuned in weekly to see the fantastic adventures of another submarine, called The Seaview.
