The Syracuse Orange are another team busting brackets all over the nation, winning yesterday over Middle Tennessee 75-50.They'll head to Chicago as part of the Sweet Sixteen.

Coming off a season that ended with 2 losses, and an NCAA invite that left many asking why, Syracuse has put together two convincing both with dominating performances in the second half.

In the win over Dayton on Friday it was Malachi Richardson with a big game and yesterday the Orange got so big play from their star guard Michael Gbinije, led the team with 23 points.

Trevor Cooney hit some big three pointers, and Tyler Lydon came off the bench and played big with a 14 point game.

I think Jim Boeheim has woke up his team and a perfect time going into the Sweet Sixteen and facing the number 11 seed Gonzaga, a team who made it the the elite 8 last year.

Gonzaga has some big players including their star six foot eleven inch forward Domantas Sabonis and thir leading scorer six foot ten forward Kyle Wiltjer.

The Bulldogs has a height advantage, but can they penetrate Boeheim's legendary defense.

The Orange will need a big game from Gbinije,, Cooney, Richardson off the bench, and rebounding from Coleman and Lydon.

Cuse will also have to win the turnover battle and the Zags are prone to coughing up the ball on occasion.

The teams will tip off this Friday night at 9:40p EST

Go Orange!
