The Orangeman of Syracuse survived the weekend with an incredible second half rally and defeated the #1 seed Virginia Cavaliers 68-62 to advance to the final four.

Syracuse defeated Gonzaga Friday night in the sweet sixteen to advance to the elite 8 game against Virginia last night in Chicago.

The Cavaliers dominated much of the game and led 35-21 at the half, Syracuse was flat on the offense the first 20 minutes, but almost like a switch, the Jim Boeheim defense kicked in and so did freshmans Malachi Richardson, and Tyler Lydon as the Orange went on a 25 to 4 run.

If you left the room, went to bed, or turned the channel in disgust, you missed one of the biggest comebacks in Cuse history.

All the stats, and most of the sporting world had the Cavs coasting to an easy victory and on to the final four,

Syracuse will face a familiar foe in ACC rivals North Carolina in the final four in Houston next Saturday Night, tip off at 8:49pm.

Syracuse fans have an added bonus this season as the Syracuse Womens team has advanced to the Final Four for the first time in team history, they'll face Washington next Sunday in Indianapolis.
