Somehow, while the NFL was deciding where to have their big game, it was decided that Metlife Stadium in New Jersey would be a good spot. What the hell were they thinking?

February is cold. It snows. Even in New Jersey. As a matter of fact, New Jersey has seen quite a bit of snowfall in the last few years, especially in February. And yet, this February, two teams and thousands of crazy spectators are going to brave the cold for the sake of  this sports spectacle.

Thanks to the Farmer's Almanac, the reaction of "oh well" is now becoming "sportsmaggedon". The Almanac is predicting a bitterly cold winter for most of the country, including New Jersey.

In case you're wondering, the almanac's prediction formula, based on planetary positions, sunspots and lunar cycles, is over 80 percent accurate. That means that their predicted large winter storm due to hit the Jersey area between February 1 and 3, would make the February 2 big game a huge mess.

I am going to take a wild guess that this will be the NFL's last scheduled outdoor big game.
