Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say an investigation into a report of stolen property has also turned up drugs and a marijuana growing operation in the Town of Pharsalia.

38 year old Todd Jackson and 34 year old Chelsea Evanoff are to appear in Town Court at a later date. Jackson is charged with possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful growing of cannabis. Evanoff is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful growing of cannabis.

Deputies say when they went to the home May 22nd, they found numerous items that had been reported stolen on the property along with drugs and the grow-op.

Officials say their investigation is continuing.
