Steve Miller Band in Binghamton Last Night

The Steve Miller Band rocked it at the Anderson Center at Binghamton University last night! I was one of the many in the audience, singing along to every song.

From the band's opening number, Jungle Love to encores of Swingtown and Jet Airliner,
this 70 year rocker showed why he's still out there performing.

I think this was possibly the first concert I've been to in years that I knew every song. Many of the Classic Rock acts will pull out the gratuitous songs from their new album and give the fans a chance to grab a drink or a smoke because lets be honest, nobody really wants to hear them. We want the hits and Steve Miller was all about the songs that made him a Classic Rock legend.

He made the show fun, joking with the audience during a somber acoustic version of a hit, and engaging the crowd in a sing along to Rock N Me.

I can now put another check on my bucket list!
