Although they're still searching for their cast and the script is being reworked, we can report a bit of wonderfully optimistic news: some serious work has reportedly begun on J.J. Abrams' 'Star Wars: Episode 7' -- namely, a very important spacecraft has already been put together. If what we've learned is true, the Millennium Falcon has been built and is ready for take off!

Yahoo! Movies reports that while Abrams continues to work hard to meet his deadlines for the December 2015 release date, and while no names have been officially (or even unofficially) announced for the cast as of yet, the director has completed one very important task: the Millennium Falcon has been built for 'Star Wars: Episode 7.' This means that we should start hearing some more concrete details soon as this seems to indicate that construction is underway for filming:

"A full-scale 1:1 Millennium Falcon has been built as well as the interiors of the ship for filming," they explained. "The Falcon is done - inside and out. The sets were built off-site, ready to move when Lucasfilm/Bad Robot were ready to move into Pinewood."

And while it's not officially confirmed by the production, that's a bit of exciting news for fans of the franchise. The Millennium Falcon will fly again!
