The Sprint Cup NRA 500 is Saturday night at Texas Motor Speedway and some people aren't happy.

Forget about the feud between Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin. This week a national debate invades NASCAR. Of course, NASCAR has not received complaints; this is coming from outside "pressure groups." Yes, the NRA (a gun rights group) was allowed to sponsor the race in a deal it struck with Texas Motor Speedway. So what?

NASCAR will review how it does sponsorships, but in my opinion, they should allow the NRA or anyone else viable to sponsor races. The NRA fits with what the race fans are into. It's a natural pairing.

I personally don't want guns in my house, but i strongly support the Second Amendment. Politics, however, have no place in NASCAR. Just sayin!
