This weekend, the 30th Spiediefest and Balloon Rally takes over Otsiningo Park in Binghamton, so I thought it would be a good time to look back each day, at the great Classic Rock acts who’ve rocked the stage.

We were excited back in 2008 to bring in 2 Classic Rock acts, Brian Howe and Blue Oyster Cult.
Brian Howe came on first, and was rocking the stage.
Unfortunately, Blue Oyster Cult was having some flight issues (beyond their control) and were trying their best to get here.
The only way they could get close, would be to fly into Elmira, and drive the hour to get here.
That's what they did.

In the meantime, we informed Brian Howe's management, and Brian graciously said he'd keep playing until BOC arrived.
That's the sign of a true performer.
When Blue Oyster Cult arrived, they quickly got things together, jumped on stage and put on an awesome show!
After all the delays and traveling they'd just gone through, we were amazed at how well they were performing and how excited they were to be at Spiediefest.

Every act we've brought to Spiediefest has been amazing, and we're looking for the same this Friday with Foghat!

Just a reminder, get your tickets for Foghat on stage this Friday (7pm) at Spiediefest for just 15 dollars, available at Mainesource Food & Party Warehouse on Upper Front Street, Binghamton.
