Smithville Flats Woman Accused of Sexual Contact With Child

A Smithville Flats woman is accused of having sexual relations with a child under the age of 15.

New York State Police say 20-year-old Heaven Parrish was arrested January 25 after they received an anonymous complaint.

The woman is charged with felony rape and criminal sexual act and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Investigators alleged Parrish had sexual contact with the child on two separate occasions in Oxford in early 2018.

She was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $5,000 bail and an order of protection was issued by the judge.

The investigation is continuing.
