February is the shortest month of the year. Doug Mosher and I figured that out by counting the days of each 12 months. We aren't the brightest tools in the shed.

In recognition of this fabulous, frigid, snowy month, we present to you, our shortest Classic Rock songs this weekend. Basically, we compiled a list of all the songs from Binghamton's largest on-air Classic Rock library that are less than three minutes in length.

What we found, was quite a few songs that fit that criteria. Many are from the late 60s, like songs from Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Who and The Rolling Stones among others. There was also quite a few from the early 70s. Rock songs tended to get longer as the 70s era progressed.

This weekend, we have neatly packaged those songs under three minutes into hourly double-shots for your enjoyment. Don't forget to tune in, because of their short length, you might miss them.

Remember to take us wherever you go this weekend…you can hear us on your radio at 99.1 FM, online at 991thewhale.com, on your mobile phone with the new Whale App, and The Whale on radioPup!
