Music is an important part of the school experience. Most of us have played an instrument, if only for a semester. Across the country, schools are cutting the music department budgets to meet budget goals.

That's where alumni and music professionals step in. Before Paul Corrigan and friends created Seton Rocks! Seton Catholic was working with 20 year old plus instruments and supplies for their music students. Thanks to this fundraiser it is getting better.

I talked with Paul about the concert and the crew he has coming in for the benefit.

Seton Rocks! is Saturday at Thirsty's. It kicks off at 8 pm.
