Sammy Hagar will turn 70 on Oct. 13. As he does every year, he'll celebrate with a Birthday Bash at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, by performing four concerts between Oct. 9 and 14, and will be joined by special guests who have yet to be announced.

"It would be impossible to pick my favorite year but I got a feeling it's still to come," Hagar said in a press release.

Similar to previous years, Hagar is dealing with the demand for tickets by holding a random drawing. Between this Wednesday (July 12) at 10AM Pacific and July 18 at 6PM Pacific, fans can register for their chance to buy tickets, which cost $70, one for every years Hagar has been alive. Hagar will post the link to enter on his website and through his Facebook, Twitter and Google+ accounts. There is a limit of two tickets per household per night.

Winners will be selected on July 21 and notified by e-mail. They then have until Aug. 7 to complete their purchase. Any unsold tickets will be put released to the general public on an as-yet unannounced date. For full details, visit Hagar's website.

For those who are unable to make it down to Cabo, he'll be leading up to the party with three weeks worth of dates with the Circle, his band featuring Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson. He'll begin at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernadino, Calif., on Sept. 10 and conclude on Sept. 30 at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Mo. Collective Soul will open on most evenings, and Hagar's son Andrew is listed as a special guest. You can see the complete tour schedule here.
