The female Red Panda cub born this spring at the Ross Park Zoo in Binghamton has died.

The twin cub had suffered medical problems since birth and her breathing issues escalated.

“Cub B” passed away just a few days after the zoo on the South Side of Binghamton held a gender reveal party for the twins.

The cub’s brother is doing well and the zoo is still taking suggestions for a name for the remaining cub.

The twins were born June 11th at the zoo on Morgan Road.
