ORIGINAL STORY:

One of my co-workers recently asked me if the Rocky Horror Picture Show was considered a Halloween season type movie. Well, I'm not sure that's what the writers and producers were thinking when they came up with the movie concept, but I believe it can be considered so.

I have been a DJ at Halloween dances every year for a long time, and if I didn't play the song 'Time Warp' at these dances, I would hear about it. But on the other hand, for many years, it was a popular song to play at wedding receptions, so is there really one category to put the movie in?

Really, it doesn't matter. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a classic and that's good enough for me. And that's why we're excited that the movie will be showing inside the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex Dome on Airport Road, Friday October 23rd, socially distanced of course, sponsored by Music for The Mission, Fox 40 WICZ, WIVT, WBNG and 99.1 The Whale.

And, Music for the Mission is selling raffle tickets for Rolling Stones memorabilia, and a jacket that Keith Richards tried on.  Proceeds will go to help feed families and individuals. Every ticket sold, provides 125 meals.

For more information, including pictures of the jacket and to purchase raffle tickets, click on the link below. Raffle tickets will also be available the night of the movie.
