Rocktober Weekend on 99.1 The Whale

Welcome to October!
We kick off the weekend officially at 5pm Friday, with a Rocktober theme.

During one of our usually pointless programming brainstorming meetings, the question came up - "how many Classic Rock tunes contain the work 'Rock' in them?"

We found there were quite a few.

Enough so that we could squeeze a weekend theme out of it.
That's where the idea of 'Rocktober Weekend' came from.

Again, Whale Personalities come through in a pinch to produce another quality weekend theme.
Yay for us.
