Once again, the Inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced. And once again I scratch my head and wonder why some big Rock and Roll names are not on the list. Or, for that matter, why it's called the Rock Hall.

Six artists are in the 2013 class: Rush, Heart, Randy Newman, Albert King, Public Enemy and Donna Summer. Deep Purple, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Procol Harum were in the running but fell short.

My problem is the same every year. Why is it called the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" when a DISCO queen is a in it? And why aren't more groundbreaking REAL rock artists in there?

Missing from the Hall are (among others): jethro Tull, Iron maiden, Ozzy Osbourne (solo), Meatloaf, The Steve Miller Band, Styx, Blue Oyster Cult, Steppenwolf, Judas Priest, Yes, Gram Parsons, The Doobie Brothers and KISS among others. And the list is long.

Until the change the name to the "Music Hall of Fame", I will continue to complain.
And you can too! Who do you think should be in that isn't? And should Rush and Heart be inductees yet?
