Recent rumors have had Robert Plant doing everything from touring with Led Zeppelin to releasing a pair of new studio albums, but it sounds like his plans for the immediate future are a lot more mundane.

"I think I might just chill for a while, to be honest," Plant suggested during a recent interview with CBS Local (via Blabbermouth). "I'm enjoying life and spending more time in America now. I really enjoy it. I'm becoming way more aware and opinionated and stimulated by these new adventures."

Perhaps indirectly commenting on those rumors, Plant admitted that "Everybody says I'm workaholic, and I just keep going and going. And I will do that [again]. But I want to explore more. When I think about how I was writing when I was a kid, when I was 20 or whatever, it was all about travel and journey and stimulus. I'm getting on a bit now, but I have to look at more stuff to be able to write cohesively."

But that doesn't mean we won't hear anything at all from Plant in the coming months. In fact, he'll be making an appearance on the next release from his paramour Patty Griffin, which he calls "a brilliant record." Explained Plant, "I just joined her on a couple of songs, which we wrote together. It's great stuff, it's really good."
