The new executive director of the Roberson Museum and Science Center, Michael Grasso, speaks on the November 26th edition of the weekly local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up about his background, how he ended up as the museum's director and this year's Home for the Holidays exhibit.

Grasso grew up in Endicott and says he lived for a time in New York City while getting his undergraduate degree before deciding he really wanted to come back home.  Grasso then went on to commute from the Southern Tier to New York City while pursuing his master's degree.

Roberson's new director reveals his enthusiasm for the diversity of the Binghamton area and says he is excited about the ever-growing number of nationalities appearing in the annual International Forest portion of Home for the Holidays.
