Road Trip for Pizza?

Let me start by saying, I love pizza. Even a bad pizza is still a pretty good pizza. We have some great pizza places around the Binghamton area. I like Nirchi's, Brozzetti's, Mario's, Jim Roma's, and New York Pizzeria just to name a few that have awesome pizza in our area. But when I want my favorite pizza, I have to make an hour long drive to Andy's Pizza in Peckville Pa.

I love Andy's Pizza because they use a bunch of different cheeses on their "trays". And I LOVE cheese. Yes, in North East Pa. they are called trays. I like all kinds of toppings too. I usually get mine with onions, black olives, and mushrooms. Sometimes I go for the sausage and pepperoni pizza.

I love specialty pizzas too. I've had a B.L.T. Pizza, a Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza, A Pierogi Pizza, Breakfast Pizza, and even a Seafood Scampi Pizza.

But this morning I stumbled upon a story about a pizza that makes me want to make a trip to Portland Oregon. Scottie's Pizza Parlor in Portland set a worlds record by making a pizza with 101 different cheeses on it. I didn't even know there were 101 different cheeses.

According to Mashable, they were inspired by the movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" where there was a 99-cheese pizza.

With my love for pizza and cheese, I really have to go and check this place out.
