‘Resurrection’ is The New Media Fascination

Maybe I am a little old fashioned or it’s a touchy subject, but what the hell is up with the idea of people coming back from the dead being a trend?

I am not the only one who believes even thinking about resurrecting someone is asking for trouble. Rod Serling gave a stern reminder of this to viewers of the Twilight Zone with the episodes “The Last Rites of Jeffrey Myrtlebank” and “Mr. Garrity and the Graves”.

Now we have the new beer commercial with famous dead people who are “alive” on a deserted island, the TV show Resurrection and the upcoming Johnny Depp film Transcendence.

I would prefer more focus on zombies since, we know those will never be real. And at least zombies don’t creep me out.
