Remembering the Original Planet of the Apes Movies [VIDEO]
With all the movie remakes that have come out over the past year you have to wonder if Hollywood is running out of ideas.
I starting thinking about some of my favorites and it dawned on me that movies from my childhood are now considered classics.
I will always be a fan of the original Planet of the Apes movies of the late 60’s early 70’s.
Yes they may have been a bit campy at times, but the cinematography in the original movie was state of the art back then, and the storyline was interesting and had a lot to offer, time travel, an apocalyptic nuclear war, mutants, and talking apes.
I use to collect the bubble gum cards and I remember the Airport Drive-In would sometimes have an Ape-O-Rama where they would show all the movies back to back.
