It is hard to believe that Kurt Cobain, the amazing talent behind the grunge band Nirvana has been dead for 22 years. Kurt took his own life and left this world at the age of 27.
The only real explanation…. the note he left and the last few lines read

‘Thank you all from the pit of my burning, nauseous stomach for your letters and concern during the past years. I'm too much of an erratic, moody baby! I don't have the passion anymore, and so remember, it's better to burn out than to fade away. Peace, love, empathy. Kurt Cobain’

I realty enjoyed his music it reminded me of a hybrid of the haunting melodies of Morrison and the Doors along with the garage band sounds of Green Day.

Here's a few more Cobain quotes

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.

Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.

If you die you're completely happy and your soul somewhere lives on. I'm not afraid of dying. Total peace after death, becoming someone else is the best hope I've got.

When I think of Kurt today I try to figure out what could have been so bad in his life that he ended it so abruptly, we may never know.
