As much as we complained about the cold weather, we all complained about those dang stink bugs more.

You're laying in bed at night and all of a sudden you hear it: that grating sound of a stink bug buzzing around your head. Time to get out of bed and kill it, knowing it'll smell like the bottom dumpster.

That may never happen again.

Researchers are saying that January's polar vortex may have killed off large amounts of invasive species, including the stink bug.

A Virginia Tech experiment is reporting that the Polar Vortex may have killed off 95 percent of stink bugs that did not find warm shelter during the winter months.
