Pizza in Moderation is Acceptable in Diets
Holy Pizza, Batman. Big Wally no did so good yesterday on the old diet. I spent the day outside my element. Grabbed and growled instead of being prepared for the day ahead. I was out of the radio station for most of the day. I did not bring a bag of fruit (well, I did, I just left it in the truck) So….. I ate 2 slices of Pizza early on… (544 calories ) ouch.
Dinner time, I was bring good when I ordered the spiedi salad with my friend Enzo. Not so good when I started it all with Mozzerella sticks… (480 calories) double ouch.
Those two items were half of my daily calorie allowance. Still in all, I did not go over what was allowed. But I did eat later than I wanted. (7pm versus 3pm) which meant I went to bed on a full stomach, which also meant I did not sleep well. and so on, and so on, and so forth….
Think about this… If I were to have eaten 4 slices of pizza, which is what i would usually do… over 1100 calories! And that’s at one meal. Also, think about this, 1000 calories…. that’s about 20-apples! That enough to make almost 4 pies.
Anyway, I am not going to beat myself up over it. But I am going to get back on the Health Horse today. I’m gonna walk a half hour or more today and I am gonna lose weight and not focus this week for my Thursday weigh in!
