August 1, 2015 update:Authorities said in an alert just before 2:30am that police found 16-year-old Jena Patterson unharmed and arrested Walter Lewis, the man accused of abducting her from her home on East View Drive in Wilkes-Barre. The two were reportedly found near Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, according to WNEP.

 

Pennsylvania State Police have issued an Amber Alert for 16-year-old Jena Patterson of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania who was abducted from her home.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Patterson is an African American female with black hair and brown eyes who stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weights 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing gray yoga pants and a multi-colored t-shirt.

Patterson was abducted from her home on East View Drive in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania at 11pm on Thursday, July 30, 2015.

The suspect is Walter Lewis, a 21-year-old African American male with black hair and who stands 5 feet, 5 inches and weighs 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray and black hoodie.

Lewis has a black 9mm handgun and is considered armed and dangerous. Lewis and Patterson left the scene on foot but may be traveling in a red car.
