A Frackville, Pennsylvania man will serve four years in prison in connection with an attempted armed robbery April 2nd at the intersection of Chapman and Pine Streets in the City of Binghamton.

20 year old Zaheer Rasheed is also the only suspect in connection with an armed robbery hours earlier, on April 1st on Chenango Street in the City but there has been no indication that he has been charged in that robbery.

Following the incidents in April, Police tracked Rasheed to a home on Lyon Street in May and found him hiding in an attic crawl space where they arrested him.

In addition to the prison sentence, Rasheed is to be on probation for five years following his release.
