It took six games for Sidney Crosby and the Penguins to win their second Stanley Cup Championship in 7 years as they defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-1 in game six yesterday.

Sports fans know how hard it is to get to this level of team play, the Rangers were here a few years ago but failed to win the series.

The San Jose Sharks had their first chance to taste victory this year but Pittsburgh was just a little better.

Sidney Crosby was this year's MVP and credited the entire team for the victory, and handed the Cup to Trevor Daley whose had a season ending injury and allowed him to raise the cup, what a class act.

You also have to give credit to the Penguins coach Mike Sullivan, who replaced coach Mike Johnston last winter when the team was failing to perform.

So that wraps up the 2015-16 NHL season and it's on to next season.

Congratulations to the Penguins players, coaches and their fans for a magical season.
