My life is complete and utter chaos 99% of the time, but my husband and I try to find small moments of normalcy and usually we achieve that late on Saturday nights when we put our little guy to bed and curl up on the couch to watch what we recorded on DVR during the week.

One of the shows we watch faithfully is 'Chicago Fire.' Dick Wolf of 'Law and Order' fame is the executive producer, so you can imagine how well written and intriguing the show is. We also love to watch it because my husband comes from a family of firefighters and because we used to live in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where Taylor Kinney’s (Kelly Severide) grew up, and where his family still lives.

According to the Owego Pennysaver, Brent Potter, a former Owego resident, will appear on the November 22nd episode of Chicago Fire. Potter will play a lead walk-on character alongside Yuri Sardarov (Otis) and Miranda Rae Mayo (Stella).

It was Potter’s fiance who urged him to answer a casting call for Chicago Fire extras. Potter tells the Owego Pennysaver that he recently signed a contract with a casting company, which may open doors to appear on more television shows.
