The climb to the top of the College Party list starts at the sober halls of Utah’s Brigham Young University (bottom of the list) past last years party institution, the University of Iowa and we reached the top party school ranked #1 out of 379 college’s in the survey,  Syracuse University.

What exactly does that mean to prospective students who may be interested in attending SU?  Do you think some may be enticed to enroll for the thrills, rather than the skills?

SU commented on the survey and said "We do not aspire to be a party school," and it’s "long-established reputation for academic excellence with programs that are recognized nationally and internationally as the best in their fields."

Do you think Syracuse sports with its basket ball and football programs gives off a party vibe that is overly appealing to young party minded students?

And finally, there are so many parts to an academic institution aside from athletics, so it is ok to allow a party type atmosphere?

I think as long as students and faculty work to reach a strong academic performance, a few toga parties should be fine, hey after all, you only live the college experience once.

Party On SU.
