Your Local Hockey Moms group and the Ice House Sports Complex are joining forces to raise funds for the victims of the tragic Humboldt Broncos Hockey Team bus accident that took place earlier this month.

The hockey community was rocked when the Humboldt Broncos bus was involved in a deadly accident while en route to a playoff gamer. In the end, 16 people died, including 14 players, and 13 more were injured.

The Southern Tier hockey community is now banding together to raise funds for the victims and their families.

This event will take place April 29th from 3-9 p.m. at the Ice House Sports Complex at 614 River Road in Binghamton. The proceeds from this event will be forwarded to the Humboldt Broncos to used as scholarship money for future players.

Admission for this event is FREE, and the open skate will last from 3-5:30 p.m. There is a whole bunch of fun planned including a DJ, raffles, face painting, kids' activities, and an appearance from Binghamton Devils Mascot Devil Dawg.

Food tickets will be available for purchase for $15. This tickets includes a dozen wings and a drink OR chicken fingers with fries and a drink.

The victims of the Humboldt Broncos will be honored in a dedication ceremony at 5 p.m.
