Once Viral Seat Belt Ad Gets New Life [VIDEO]

In 2010, a public safety film was released by the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership in England. The short took on an old topic; safety belt use. Suddenly, this regional commercial went viral worldwide.

You’ve seen seat belt safety commercials before. Most of them depict tragedy. it’s the “fear factor” idea, but sometimes it causes trauma to the viewers.

The group behind the SSRP ad wanted to bring a positive message. The commercial, “Embrace Life” does just that. The impact of the way the message is delivered has caused it to become viral once again. All weekend long I saw it, and again this morning, on Facebook.

There are no words just a visual that is unforgettable. Watch.
