The New York Giants will host their Super Bowl rivals the New England Patriots in the final preseason game tonight coverage begins at 6:05pm.

Coach Ben McAdoo will use this final game to evaluate both reserves and first string players.

Big Blues offense has been sluggish and you have to wonder is it just a mask to hide what this team can do on the offensive side of the ball?

The team is not where they want to be yet, but I'm sure most of the NFL teams feel the same way when going through their final evaluations.

I liked what I saw out of the first string defense and I think they will get better in the next few weeks.

The offensive line is a concern with both creating holes for the running backs and allowing Eli Manning the timer he needs to find his receivers, the Giants has signed their former tackle Will Beatty and they may be looking at other teams cuts to sign more.

Victor Cruz looked good in his first action in nearly two years, but he has a way to go and will he ever be able to get back to the salsa dancing play maker he once was.

Eli Manning has failed to score a touchdown in his 12 possessions during the two preseason games he played in, that doesn't seem to be a concern of Coach McAdoo.

I am hopeful that this team will be a playoff team and it cold start with a win in Dallas on September 11th

Giants and Patriots catch all the action with Bob Papa and company starting with the Pre-Game show tonight at 6:35p and keep it here after the game for head coach Ben McAdoo's press conference and team interviews on your station for NY Giants Football 991 the whale.
