News of the Weird Runner Up: Satan Worshippers Back Florida Governor on Religion Stance

Politics makes strange bedfellows. Good saying and very true in this case! Normally, when prayer in public is brought up, more people complain than you'd expect. But not this time.

In support of Florida Governor Rick Scott signing a bill to allow students to pray at school events, Satanic Temple (yes a Satanist group) will hold a rally outside the Governor's Office on January 25th. The group's spokesman Lucien Greaves said the rally is part of a larger ongoing effort at making the group's beliefs more commonplace in mainstream discussions of religion and beliefs.

All Governor Scott's spokesman could say was  "This is a great country. Everyone has a voice."  And all I can say is wow.. That's all I've got. Just...wow!
