Update: According to New York State Police, Cartrette was found safe.

In a statement issued by the New York State Police in Sidney, officials are turning to the public and asking for help in locating 29-year-old Joshua Cartrette of Windsor.

Cartrette was last seen by family members around 9:30pm on Monday, March 21, 2016 at his home at 67 Kent Street in the Town of Windsor, Broome County.

Cartrette is described as being  a white male who stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and has a medium build. Cartrette has brown hair and eyes and police say he has multiple tattoos on his right arm, left arm, chest and right leg.

There's a chance that Cartrette might be driving a red 2002 Chevrolet 1500 single cab pickup truck with Pennsylvania plates that read ZHP9513.  Police also mention that the truck has a square hole cut in the passenger side and that the hole is located near the rear wheel well.

If you know anything about the whereabouts of Cartrette, please call the New York State Police at 607-775-1241.
