The New York Giants head to the Superdome to face The New Orleans Saints on Sunday, coverage begins at 12 noon on 991 The Whale.

The Giants have had their issues with Drew Brees and the Saints, losing 3 out of the last 4 contests, and they have not won in the Superdome since 1993.

It's a home coming for Louisiana natives Eli Manning, Odell Beckham Jr,. and Rueben Randle, who all will be looking to compete on a high level.

Big Blue is still without CB Prince Amukamara,, WR Victor Cruz, DE Owa Odighizuwa, and LB J.T. Thomas III.

The Saints have won 3 in a row, including a convincing win against an undefeated Falcons team, so the Giants need a perfect game.

The Giants have put together a running game over the past few weeks, with a spark from their number four RB Orleans Darkwa, last week was the first time the team rushed for over 100 yards all season.

The Giants defense came up big last week with 6 turnovers, they also lead the league with a plus ten turnover ratio.

The Giants need to keep offensive drives going and score touchdowns, time of possession is key in keeping Drew Brees, and the high powered Saints offense off the field.

I don't like this matchup, we always seem to get burned by these passing quarterbacks, and with no pass rush, the Giants need to find a way to get to the QB and force him to make bad throws.

The Eagles and Redskins have byes this week, so the Giants have a great opportunity to put some distance between them in the NFC east.

The stage is set, and once again fans will have to wait to see which team shows up.

Catch all the action Sunday at 12 Noon, and keep it here after the game for coach Coughlin’s press conference and team interviews on your station for NY Giants Football, 99.1 The Whale.

Go Giants!
