My Last Time in a Tent [Sponsored Content]
Last year my wife Chris and I went to the Finger Lakes Wine Festival with friends of ours. Lisa and Doug have a huge tent. We had two queen-size mattresses in there and we might have been able to fit a third.
The wine festival is held at Watkin's Glen International Speedway in Watkin's Glen. Wineries from all over New York state fill huge tents that you walk through and sample their goods produced right here in New York State.
The cool part about camping there was you didn't have to worry about driving or having a designated driver. We brought a grill and set up camp right in the grass camping areas at the track. They have on site showers and everything. You could have a little campfire and hang out drinking until it's time to crawl back in the tent for some sleep.
We had so much fun that my wife wants us to get our own tent and head back there this summer. So, I'm sure we'll be heading to Eureka Camping Center soon.
Don Morgan and I have been going up to Eureka to talk to the pros there about which tent is right for each situation.
Check out the video.
And make sure you stop by Eureka to register to win a weekend pass for two, to Mountain Jam at Hunter Mountain, camping gear, and a gas card!
