During the warmer months and right into the heart of fall, construction projects will be popping up all over our area.

Some of these projects will be hard to avoid since several involve major through ways in your daily commute, so what do you do?

If you can't change your route to avoid the area I would suggest leaving for your destination a little earlier to arrive at the same time you normally do, this might take a few days to adjust your travel time.

Second, don't stress out over it, most of us have a comfortable drive, complete with temperature control and 991 The Whale playing your favorite classic rock on the radio.

I am writing this blog from personal experience, I have had at least three major detours on my morning commute this summer, since I leave for work very early, I experience more of a delay on my way home, never the less driving home can be stressful too.

I really try to put myself in a good frame of mind cause lets face it, some drivers are just bad drivers, and all the yelling and colorful gesturing in the world isn't going to do anything but make that vein in your head pop out.

You have more important things to exert your energy, so focus on the things in your life that make you happy, and know that you'll be doing some of those soon.

Now Kick Back and Enjoy the Ride.
