My First Whale Stops This Weekend

One of added perks of being a radio personality is getting out of the studio and promoting the businesses in our area, it's also an opportunity to meet some of the  people that listen to you each day.

This past weekend I had my first chance to do that with two Whale stops on Saturday.

The first was at J&R Upholstery 20 Emma Street in Binghamton, a locally owned business that has been in operation for 26 years. Todd the owner is extremely passionate about his business, I could tell the first time I met him that he cares about the quality of his products and making sure his customers are satisfied.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and they all believe in the products that they sell.

I had a chance to meet a few listeners while I was there both had come up from Pennsylvania and that says something about a business that can bring people from over the border.
