Four Mount Upton residents are accused of possessing drugs when their vehicle was stopped by Johnson City Police January 12 on Main Street for a traffic violation.

35-year-old Erick Wilcox, 54-year-old Sheila Eccleston, 38-year-old Chastity Viele and 38-year-old Bobbijo Nye were sent to the Broome County Jail.

Village Police say they pulled the vehicle at 7:50 p.m. and found Viele, who was driving the car, had a suspended license the other three Mount Upton residents were passengers.

Police say they found 10.4 grams of crack cocaine, one Lyrica pill, marijuana, a glass crack pipe and a digital scale commonly used to weigh drugs in the vehicle.

All four are charged with two felony counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Eccleston is also charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.  She was also wanted on a warrant out of the Village of Sidney.

Veile is additionally charged with misdemeanor drug possession, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and having an uninspected vehicle.

Nye was found to be wanted on an arrest warrant out of the City of Binghamton.
