I love to camp. That is if you call camping, using a travel trailer with full hookups at a seasonal campground. Tent camping? Been there, done that. Anyway, last week, I decided to move to another lot in the campground. Not sure I'll do that again!

It seemed like a good idea, since a site opened up that I had been wanting to move to for a few years. Well, it became available and I was granted the site. Now to simply move all my belongings and camper over. As they say, easier said than done. I hadn't realized just how much crap I'd accumulated over the past six years.

Anything I didn't need or use, seemed to get shoved under the camper and forgotten. All needed to come out from underneath, and hauled to the new site. I had a deck full of chairs, tables, fencing, stairs, refrigerator, grill, etc. that had to be moved. A cord of firewood and it's holder also needed to be moved to the new site. And on and on, including putting everything away inside the camper so things wouldn't come crashing down in the move, which thankfully was only two rows over.

The whole process from packing, moving and unpacking took  a couple of days. Thankfully, the campground staff moved and leveled my camper, so I didn't have to deal with that fun adventure.

Now that all is set up and in place, I am, as they say, a happy camper. Beer included.
