Money How Much Do We Really Need?

The Beatles once sang ‘Money Can’t Buy Me Love” and there is a lot of truth to that statement, but can money buy happiness?
There was a recent survey that asks the question, how much money would it take to make you happy? I can’t speak for you or anyone else, but I’m happy if my bills are paid and I can contribute to my retirement fund.
I see more and more of my family and friends investing time and money into their homes, with all the new technology in home entertainment and vessels like Blu Ray players, Netflix, or PPV movies, people would rather spend time enjoying a movie on their big screen or listening to some great music on their digital sound system, cooking out, entertaining guests, sitting in a hot tub or swimming in their own pool.
I also enjoy going to all the events this area has to offer, July Fest, Spiedie Fest, the Dicks Sporting Goods Open and many more events throughout the year so just having my home set up comfortably, and some spare cash to enjoy some local events, maybe take a small vacation would be enough for me.

By the way the #1 answer to that survey was 1 out of 4 people said between $100,000 and $200,000 would make them happy.
Looking back over the last 50 years we have been coddled by technology, a fact no one can deny.
What a great period of time we live in, I feel extremely blessed to be a part of this era.
