Congratulation to Maine Endwell who ended a perfect season by defeating South Korea 2-1 to become the Little League World Series Champions.

The story was all over social media the minute the game was over, but it was different in the greater Binghamton area.

Friends, family, community members and alumnus were showing their support and pride for this group of young men who did sometime that hasn't been done in over 50 years, bring a little League World Championship to New York State.

This was a total team effort and Pitcher Ryan Harlost not only kept his cool under what had to be incredible pressure in the national spotlight, he pitched the entire game and only allowed one run.

There will be a parade this morning as the team is expected to arrive around 11:15am.

Hooper road and many of the streets within the vicinity of Maine Endwell High School will be shut down during the victory parade.

The roads will reopen immediately after the parade has finished.

All of us and 991 The Whale congratulate the Team, Coaches, School, Family on a magical season and memories will last a life time.
