Ross Park Zoo in Binghamton has just gotten a whole lot cuter.

The Zoo on Morgan Road has welcomed three Geoffroy’s marmosets from the Trevor Zoo in the Hudson Valley as part of the Species Survival Plan program.

The little, black and white primates, seven-year-old Clark, six-year-old Maxine and six-month-old Finn were moved to Binghamton with a hope of growing the family group.

The marmosets are native to the forests of southeastern Brazil and is considered stable in the wild.  Populations of the animals, also known as white-fronted marmosets, are declining due to habitat destruction.

Clark, Maxine and little Finn are now on exhibit in the Wonders of Nature building.

Ross Park Zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children ages three to 11.
