Man Sentenced for West Corners Shooting

An Endicott man is heading to prison for shooting a motorcycle club member in West Corners.

36-year-old Paul Warner of East Main Street was sentenced Friday to 12 years in prison and five years probation. He had been convicted in March of second-degree attempted murder by a Broome County jury.

Warner also had been found guilty of assault and attempted assault, along with a count of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals.

Authorities had said Warner shot 50-year-old Timothy Mancini on September 24 outside the Carl Street clubhouse for the "Flesh and Blood" motorcycle gang.

Investigators said Mancini's dog also was shot during the West Corners incident.

Mancini was shot on a Saturday afternoon while several other people were nearby. Police had said it occurred as the result of a long-running feud involving some Flesh and Blood gang members.
