What a night for football at Maine-Endwell's Spartan Stadium tonight as M-E held off Susquehanna Valley to win 13-6 and advance to next Saturday's Section 4 Class "B" championship game.  The Spartans will fave Norwich Saturday at 6 PM at Ty Cobb Stadium in Endicott..

Adam Gallagher scored one a one-yard run to put M-E up with 6:39 remaining in the first quarter and with the PAT the Spartans were up 7-0.  That held up until there was 1:41 remaining in the third quarter when Marquis Jackson scored from one yard out.  SV's extra point try was wide and that left the Spartans with a 13-6 lead.

M-E's defense was outstanding coming up with numerous big plays to keep the Sabers out of the end zone the rest of the game.  Maine-Endwell won their 47th consecutive game and look to defend their title in Saturday evening's game against Norwich.
