Magic Weight Loss Potion-Tastes Good and is Less Filling
Most of the information people get on what foods to eat to help you lose weight is simply wrong. If you followed a balanced diet consisting of proteins, carbs and a small amount of fats, and reduced your portion sizes, you will most likely start down the road to a smaller you.
However, there are certain foods that can help promote weight loss. Here are a few that help me every single day….
Fruits…. any kind of fruit can help during a weight loss regime. I usually eat five different pieces of fruit a day. Spaced at about 1 1/2 to 2 hr intervals. It helps keep the hunger at bay, and most of the time they are not any more than 80 calaories and they containe NO fat! Apples are right there on top of the list of foods that promote weight loss. I mix it up and have Pears, peaches, plums, etc…..
SALSA…. yes I said salsa. Being the Irish lad that I am, I love my potatoes, either slathered in butter or sour cream. And that, not the baked taters, are what causes your weight loss to halt, halt, halt. Eating potatoes are a great source of complex carbs for energy. And using 4tablespoons of salsa actually jazzes up the Yukon Golds, it containes zero fat, is only 18 calories and the spices help speed up the metabolism.
I actually use salsa as my pasta sauce. I love it, it’s good for you, and it puts a little kick into your meals. I hate stale diet meals. Salsa… IT IS THE MAGIC TOOL IN MY DIET!
