Love Bites Valentine’s Weekend on 99.1 The Whale

Love gone wrong, love sucks, love hurts, love bites. For those of you who are not fans of Valentine's Day, this weekend theme is for you.

Now let me be clear on my opinion about Valentine's Day. I have nothing against the non-holiday, it's just not my thing. One day to reaffirm your love? It should be everyday of the year. Some say it was developed by the card, candy or flower industry. That's really not true, but when you add all that up cost-wise along with dinner and maybe some jewelry, you've dropped a few bucks on the day. Again, if that's cool with the 'in-love' gang, go for it.

So, while the country gets all 'lovey-dovey' for Valentine's Day/Weekend, we've decided to recognize those who are not currently in a relationship for whatever reason, with Classic Rock tunes that are not about love, rather the opposite.
