The Fall of 1970 brought out the best in Led Zeppelin. They had just released Led Zeppelin III on October 5th, 1970 in the United Kingdom. It most of the year to record the album.

Most of the songs were conceived in a Welsh cottage named Bron-Yr-Aur. One of the songs on the album is called Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp. Other major songs on this album include Immigrant Song, Since I've Been Loving You, Tangerine, Gallows Pole and Hats Off to (Roy) Harper.

Led Zeppelin III topped the album charts in the United States as well as the United Kingdom, and has sold well over six million copies. My personal favorite tune on the album is Tangerine.

For this week's Classic Rock Pick, take a moment to relax and enjoy this version of Led Zeppelin's Tangerine from a 1975 concert. I love the intro to the song from Robert Plant. Enjoy.
